Kicked the shiz out of a dog
Hey everybody! Pretty chill week in Perico! Love you all who been sending me emails and those who haven’t, you’re a bum🤷♂️
Lowkey didn’t do much this week. 2 mornings we spent pricing out and getting ingredients to make sandwiches for Zone Council so we wouldn’t have to spend a bajillion dollars on food and we got it down to like 3 dollars a companionship for a big milanesa sandwich. I made cookies because the theme was like recipes but for some reason there’s only 1 place that has chocolate chips in all of Perico. Thankfully though I had passed by said place like 2 weeks before and said “that place 100% has chocolate chips” but never went inside and then we went inside to see and I was right.
I’m a cracked Sister Missionary. Don’t play with me twin.
We did exchanges and I was with one Élder Tracy. He grew up in Flagstaff but now lives in Ohio. While we were walking on Thursday, a big dog came up right in front of me and looked me dead in the eyes. I had sixth sense so I step back and bro instantly lunges for me and I crane kicked him in the face. All his owner did was say really softly “Come here.” So when I kicked it and the dog ran away, the owner looked at me like I killed her child.
Shoutout to Charlie Gonzales and District 16A from the MTC. We hit 1 year in the mission tomorrow.
Spiritual Thought:
It’s nuts that I’ve had this plack on for a year now. The time really has flown and I wanna just say that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true. Without Jesus Christ I would not have the joy that I have. This has been the hardest, best year of my entire life. We cannot have true change of heart without applying the Atonement to our lives. Jesus Christ lives and loves each and every one of us and because of that gave his life. He established a church during His life and the Book of Mormon testifies of Him, His Gospel, and the Church of Jesus Christ.
